Polytechnic Battles and Breakthroughs

After completing school, I stepped into a new world—one where dreams must be turned into reality.

The first hurdle appeared in the prospectus. It stated clearly: Persons with more than 40% disability are not eligible to apply.

With great difficulty, I completed the exam and attended counselling—only to return home with rejection.

But barriers can be broken.

With the help of the Equal Opportunities Act (1995), the Disability Commissioner, and the Commissioner of Technical Education, I finally secured admission into AANM & VVRS Polytechnic College, Gudlavalleru.
